(1) Each application for a license shall be accompanied by a receipt for payment in <br />full of the required fee for the license. All fees shall be paid into the general fund of the City. <br />Upon rejection of any application for a license, the City shall refund the amount paid. <br />(2) Every license except a temporary license shall run for a period of one (1) year <br />from July 1 of each year. A temporary on -sale license shall run for a specified period pursuant to <br />Section 703.110. If a portion of the license year has elapsed when the license is granted, the <br />license shall be issued for the remainder of the year for a pro rata fee. In computing such a fee, <br />any unexpired fraction of a month shall be counted as one (1) month. <br />(3) The license fees for an on -sale restaurant intoxicating liquor license, on -sale <br />intoxicating liquor license, off -sale license, and a temporary on -sale license shall be as set forth <br />by City Council resolution. <br />Section 5. <br />Section 703.180. is hereby amended as follows: <br />703.180. SPECIAL SUNDAY SALE. The holder of an "on- sale" liquor license under <br />the Code, may apply to the Council for a special license to sell intoxicating liquor in a restaurant <br />on Sunday, provided that the liquor may be served in conjunction with the sale of food. The <br />application for such license may be made at the same time and upon the same license as the "on- <br />sale" licensee uses to apply for his/her regular "on-sale" license. The fee for a special Sunday <br />liquor license shall be set forth by City Council resolution. No such license shall be issued to <br />any "on- sale" licensee unless said licensee is operating a benefited restaurant serving meals <br />regularly to the public and having facilities for serving at least 30 people at one time. No <br />intoxicating liquor shall be served before 10:00 o'clock a.m. or after 1:00 o'clock a.m. on <br />Sunday. <br />Section 6. <br />Section 704.040. is hereby amended as follows: <br />704.040. LICENSE FEES. The annual fee for a wine license shall be as set forth by City <br />Council resolution. Each application for a wine license shall be accompanied by a receipt from <br />the City for payment in full of a license fee. If an application for a license is rejected, the City <br />shall refund the amount paid. <br />Section 7. <br />Section 705.010. is hereby amended as follows: <br />705.010. PERMIT AND FEES.
