MINUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />Dec. 10, 1987 <br />Bank Shot <br />Billiards <br />(Cont.) <br />Buche <br />Lot Split <br />Tom's Auto <br />Paving Of <br />Commercial <br />& Industrial <br />Parking <br />Lots <br />should create the image they are seeking. <br />Mr. Perling recommended approval of the conditional use permit for <br />Bank Shot Billiards to be located in the shopping center at Rice <br />Street and County Road C subject to the recommendations of the City <br />Planner, initially limiting the hours of operation to between 8 A.M. <br />and 2 A.M. and allowing for eight amusement machines at the billiard <br />center. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Costa. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />The City Planner reported that Patricia Buche has requested to divide <br />her property located at Morrison Street and unimproved Sixth Avenue. <br />The Planner reported that in discussing the lot split with the City <br />Engineer,the Engineer informed him that there were some easements on <br />this property which were never recorded. Therefore, the Engineer <br />is recommending that the City require these easements at this time. <br />The Planner reported that there is a 30 foot utility easement <br />necessary on the south end of the lot and a 30 foot drainage easement <br />needed on the east property line. <br />The Planner recommended approval of the lot split subject to the <br />easements as recommended by the City Engineer. <br />Mr. DeLonais recommended approval <br />division as submitted contingent <br />utility easement on the southern <br />drainage easement on the eastern <br />Motion seconded by Schweizer. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />of the Patricia Buche property <br />upon the granting of a 30 foot <br />edge of the property and a 30 foot <br />property line. <br />The Commission discussed the appears of Tom's Auto on County Road C <br />and requested that the Building Inspector determine whether or not <br />this business is in compliance with the terms of its permits. <br />The Planner reported that in the near future he will submit for <br />consideration a proposal requiring a change to the Zoning Code which <br />will require the parking lots of commercial and industrial property <br />to be paved. Currently, the ordinance requires that these parking <br />lots be surfaced to control dust and drainage. <br />Page 91 <br />
