Bill Sanders has served <br />as our park consultant since the inception of our park development in 1976. Bill was a charter <br />member of our Parks and Recreation Commission and served voluntarily in that capacity until <br />1990. The nominal rate of' $25 per hour that he charges for his company's services has been in <br />effect for more than ten years. The requested rate of $45 per hour is still a very nominal rate and <br />is far below the industry standard for this service. I feel it clearly shows his commitment to <br />serving the Little Canada park system. <br />More important than the reasonable rate he is requesting is his in -depth knowledge of our park <br />system as well as the history behind all of the planning decisions that have went into it's <br />development over the past 25 years. <br />I recommend approval of the rate increase to $45 per hour as requested. <br />JM:kp <br />Enclosure <br />\ \CLCSRV Ol \HOME\KrisP \CORRESP\2000\ark Consu <br />Page 128 <br />
