Sewer Ordinance (205) states that when a property is adjacent to a sewer main, or in a <br />block through which a system extends, the property owner shall be connected to the <br />municipal sanitary sewer system within one (1) year from the time a connection is <br />available to any such property. <br />My recommendation is that we adopt this ordinance, as we are required to by State <br />Statute and in addition it is required for our Comprehensive Plan approval by <br />Metropolitan Council. The City Engineer and the City Building Official reviewed the <br />attached ordinance. They recommend adoption of the ordinance with the stipulation <br />that warrantied systems be prohibited within the City of Little Canada (see definition <br />attached). <br />Attachments: <br />1.
