MINUTES <br />PLAT, <br />CUP, AND <br />REZONING - <br />PARK PLACE - <br />GORDIE I-IOWE <br />WISES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 9, 2000 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />March, 2000 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Ms. Faith Kraemer <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Elizabeth Mursko, Zoning Admin. <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />There being no corrections to the February 10, 2000 Planning Commission <br />minutes, those minutes stand approved as submitted. <br />Gordie Howe, Masterpiece Homes, appeared before the Commission <br />requesting approval of the Rezoning to R -2, Preliminary and Final <br />Plat, Conditional Use Permit for Planned Unit Development and <br />Vacation of a portion of the Jackson Street right -of -way for a 22 -unit <br />townhome development known as Park Place to be located on the <br />northeast comer of Little Canada Road and Jackson Street. <br />The City Planner recommended approval of requests as presented subject <br />to compliance with the recommendations as outlined in his report. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Mr. Knudsen recommended approval of the rezoning to Medium- Density <br />Residential for the Park Place development as requested by Mr. Gordie <br />Page 19 <br />
