Hanson <br />Email: cityhall @ci.little- canada.mn.us <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING AMENDED FEASIBILITY REPORT <br />LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 96 -1 <br />WHEREAS, <br />An amended feasibility report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to <br />the improvement of Little Canada Road between Rice Street and County Road C by road <br />reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage and ponding, streetscape <br />amenities, burying of overhead power lines, upgrade of railroad crossing, sanitary sewer <br />rehabilitation, and right -of -way acquisition, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />The report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, <br />cost - effective, and feasible, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE <br />CANADA, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of <br />the improvement of $2,450,000; <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 9th day of <br />February, 2000, in the Council Chambers of the City Center at 7:00 p.m. and the City <br />Administrator shall have mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement <br />as required by law. <br />Adopted by the Council this 9th day of February, 2000. <br />Attest: <br />Joel R.
