Hanson <br />Email: cityhall @ci.little- canada.mn.us <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 96 -01 <br />WHEREAS, <br />A resolution of the City Council adopted the 5'h day of January, 2000, fixed a date for a <br />Council hearing on the proposed improvement of Little Canada Road from Rice Street to <br />County Road C by road reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage and <br />ponding, streetscape amenities, burying of overhead power lines, upgrade of railroad <br />crossings, sanitary sewer rehabilitation, and right -of -way acquisition. <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and <br />the hearing was held thereon on the 9th day of February, 2000, at which all persons <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA: <br />I. Such improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible as detailed in the <br />feasibility report. <br />Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution <br />adopted the 5111 day of January, 2000. <br />3. Howard R. Green Company is hereby designated as the City Engineer for this <br />improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making <br />of such improvement. <br />Adopted by the Council this 9th day of February, 2000. <br />Attest: <br />Joel R.
