Section III. Scope <br />A. Inspection <br />1. The firm shall inspect and re- inspect (if necessary) approximately 1,200 properties in <br />the City of Little Canada that have municipal sanitary sewer service. Inspections may <br />begin as early as January 10, 2000, with all inspections to be completed by April 28, <br />2000. <br />2. The firm shall fill out inspection forms on each property, place notices in each <br />basement, and seal all baskets without a sump pump (forms, mailings and notices to <br />be provided by City). <br />3. Overall administration of the program including but not limited to scheduling <br />appointments, responding to all phone calls and providing technical advice as needed <br />will be provided by the firm. <br />4. Homeowners found to be in violation of the City's Sump Pump Ordinance Section <br />205.080 or otherwise out of compliance shall be scheduled for re- inspection at a later <br />date by the firm. <br />5. The firm shall verify reading for inside water meter and outside remote sensor. <br />Synchronize if necessary and inform the City of any obvious leakage and/or defects. <br />B. Recordkeeping <br />1. The firm shall maintain a database compatible to City software of all homes <br />inspected, the dates of inspection and follow -up inspections if necessary. This <br />database shall also include the inspections completed by City staff and cross <br />referenced the inspection form number. <br />2. The firm shall supply the city with a list of addresses and a map showing which <br />properties have a sump pump, basket only or no basket and indications of water in the <br />basket. When the inspection is completed, a Certificate of Compliance shall be <br />signed and issued to all properties with a copy attached to the inspection form. <br />3. The firm shall supply the City with a list of inside water meter readings and outside <br />remote sensor readings along with a list of any obvious leakage and/or defects <br />observed. <br />4. The firm shall file all inspection forms with a copy of the Certificate of Compliance <br />attached alphabetically by street and street address. <br />Page 25 <br />
