The trailer needs
to be removed from the street. If it is a recreational trailer, it can be parked in the driveway of
the rear yard. If it is a commercial trailer, it needs to be removed from the property. In my
inspection, it seems to be a commercial trailer in that debris and other materials were stored in
it that did not appear to be incidental to a residential use. (That debris should also be disposed
of in a legally approved manner.)
• The street was damaged by the storage of the trailer. This is a violation of Municipal Code
601.050 (r). You need to contact our Public Works Superintendent, Bill Dircks, at 651-
766 -4049 to discuss repairs to the road and how you will pay for them.
• Various chemicals are being stored on a table in front of the garage in violation of Municipal
Code 601.050(d). These items pose an attractive nuisance for children in the area and should
be stored in the out of view from the public in a secure area or disposed of at a household
hazardous waste site.
• There are various construction materials (roofing) being stored in a couple of locations on the
property. They do not appear to be associated with any work occurring on the property as
evidenced by the lack of a building permit or any work taking place. There is also other
materials and equipment stored on the north side of the garage. These are violations of
Zoning Code 903.020.0. This material needs to be stored in the garage or removed from the
property.
• When I visited the property to attempt to discuss these violations last Friday, two dogs were
barking inside of the house. No dogs are licensed to this address. Dog licenses are required
by City Code 1101.050. Licenses can be obtained from City Hall.
• It also appears the house is being leased to Mr. Rodrigues given Ms. Granmoe is listed as the
property owner. A rental license is required for all rental units in the City. The details of
obtaining this license can be found on the City's website at www.ci.little- canada.mn.us.
4
