Hanson <br />Complaints have been received regarding nuisance violations on your property at the above <br />referenced address. Upon inspection of the property, the following violations were noted (see photos <br />attached for some of the violations): <br />• Grass not maintained in appropriate manner plus excessive weeds present on the <br />property — Municipal Code 601.030(h) <br />• Brush on various locations around the property is a violation of Municipal Code <br />601.030(i). <br />• Debris stored in garage with door open is a violation of Municipal Code 601.030(i). <br />• Some appliances are sitting outside. This is a violation of Municipal Code 601.030(o) <br />and 601.030(j). It is also a violation of zoning code 903.020(0). <br />• Your waste receptacle is being stored in the front yard. This should be stored behind <br />the fenced area. <br />• There is a plastic bag in the front yard next to a tree. This is a violation of Municipal <br />Code 601.030(1). <br />If corrections are not completed by Monday, August 13, 2012 the City will take the necessary steps <br />to abate the nuisance pursuant to Section 601.080 of the Little Canada City Code. (Text Below) To <br />expedite the abatement process, city staff will be requesting the City Council to authorize the <br />abatement of this nuisance violation during their meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, <br />2012; subject to the completion date of August 13th. If all required corrections are not completed by <br />that date and the City Council has authorized the abatement, staff will proceed with correction work <br />on Tuesday, August 14, 2012; or as soon thereafter as practical. If the abatement is ordered by the <br />City Council and abatement work proceeds, all costs of the abatement together with a fee in the <br />amount of not more than 25% of the cost to abate the nuisance shall be imposed, except that in no <br />event shall the administrative fee be less than $50.00 shall be assessed for collection on the property <br />taxes. <br />
