515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(651) 484 -2177 / FAX: (651) 484 -4538
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Fahey & Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: July 9, 1999
RE: Biagini Office Project
Development Agreement:
MAYOR
Michael L Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Mr. Biagini and I were to meet on July 6th to workout the final details of the development
agreement for the above - referenced project. However, due to a serious illness in his family, he
had to leave town and we have not yet been able to meet. If possible, I will try to get together
with him before Wednesday night in hopes of having an agreement in final form for your
approval.
We have closed on the Fasciana property on June 30`h and are closing on the Nadeau property on
July 12`h. In the case of Mr. Nadeau, I have agreed to have property taxes prorated from June
15` on given that was the date we originally were set to close. The closing has been delayed due
to some title issues that were being resolved.
Precision Tree Property Acquisition:
I hope to be in receipt of the appraisal for this property by Wednesday's meeting. Once
received, I will meet with the owners of Precision Tree to discuss our next course of action. I
have also been working with them to try to find possible relocation sites within the community.
Knowing the appraised value of their current property will help us decide how to approach this
matter.
JRH:kpp
cc: Dick Biagini
Mac & Chris Groholski
PAGE 167
