MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 25, 1985 <br />Vitale Council informed Mr. Vitale that the hearing was called for his variance <br />Fence Variance request and the neighbors would have to make application for a variance <br />(Cont.) and another public hearing called for their requests. <br />Mr. Vitale asked if he had to leave the cyclone fence up that is currently <br />on the back of his property. Mr. Blesener stated that he believed the <br />fence was the County's and he would have to make a request of the County <br />for removal of the fence. <br />Fahey suggested that the City approve the variance request subject to <br />Mr. Vitale's getting approval of the County to remove the cyclone fence. <br />Ms. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85 -9 -450 - CLOSING THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VITALE FENCE <br />VARIANCE REQUEST <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Page 464. <br />There was no one present objecting to the Vitale fence variance request. <br />Ms. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85 -9 -451 - GRANTING THE <br />VARIANCE REQUESTED BY MR. JOSEPH VITALE <br />TO CONSTRUCT AN 8 -FOOT HIGH FENCE ON THE <br />BACK OF HIS PROPERTY SUBJECT TO MR. VITALE'S <br />WORKING WITH THE COUNTY FOR REMOVAL OF THE <br />COUNTY'S CYCLONE FENCE AND THE VARIANCE IS <br />BEING GRANTED DUE TO THE TRAFFIC ON COUNTY <br />ROAD C AND THE CLOSE PROXIMITY OF A MAJOR ARTERIAL <br />TO THE VITALE PROPERTY AND ALSO FOR THOSE REASONS <br />AS STATED IN THE BUILDING INSPECTOR'S REPORT <br />DATED SEPTEMBER 5, 1985 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Page 465. <br />Page -2- <br />
