CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION FOR VACATING A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate a drainage and <br />utility easement over Lot 4, Block 1, Stoneridge; <br />AND WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 25, 1999 before the City Council <br />in the City Center after due published and posted notice had been given by the City <br />Administrator on August 5, 1999, a reasonable attempt was made to give personal notice <br />to all affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be <br />heard; <br />AND WHEREAS, any person, corporation or city owning or controlling easements <br />contained upon the property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same <br />or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove <br />or otherwise attend thereto; <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such <br />easement; <br />AND WHEREAS, four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this <br />resolution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following is hereby vacated: <br />That portion of Lot 4, Block 1, Stoneridge, City of Little Canada, Ramsey <br />County, Minnesota commencing at the southeast corner of said lot thence north <br />58 feet, thence west 68 feet to the point of beginning; thence north 46.5 feet, <br />thence west 8 feet, thence south 46.5 feet, thence east 8 feet to the point of <br />beginning. <br />Adopted by the Council this 25th day of August, 1999. <br />Approved: <br />Michael I.
