MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 22, 2026 <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2026-4-59 — APPROVING THE EXECUTION OFA PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR COMPENSATIONAND CLASSIFICATION STUDY <br />SER VICES WITH MGT IMPA CT SOL UTIONS, LL C, AND A UTHORIZE THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN THE CONTRACT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Malone. <br />Ayes (3). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Miller noted some webinars hosted by the Metropolitan Council that he has been participating in. <br />Malone stated that the Northeast Youth and Family Services luncheon will take place on May 6th, <br />noting that it is a great fundraiser for the organization and an opportunity to learn more about the <br />services provided. She appreciated the work of staff in creating the business networking event. She <br />recognized the upcoming construction projects and urged residents to continue to frequent and support <br />those businesses throughout the construction process. <br />Mayor Fischer acknowledged Bolton & Menk and the City Engineer for their work at Spooner Park. <br />He stated that this year, a brother and sister finished first and second in the Canadian Days button <br />design contest.
