CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 920.040. OF THE LITTLE CANADA <br />ZONING CODE RELATING TO CONDITIONAL USES IN THE <br />PUBLIC /SEMI - PUBLIC DISTRICT "P ". <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 920.040. is hereby amended by adding the following: <br />B. Open and outdoor storage of materials as an accessory use to a municipal <br />maintenance facility, provided that: <br />1. The storage area is fenced and screened from view of neighboring <br />residential uses and/or local public right -of -way in compliance with <br />Section 903.020.G. of this Ordinance. Screening materials may include <br />chain -link fence with slats when abutting an "I -1" Light Industrial District. <br />2. Materials must be necessary for the health, safety and general welfare of <br />the community. The maximum amount of stockpiled materials must be <br />indicated on the approved site plan in cubic yards and approved by the <br />City Council. <br />3. The storage area must be surfaced with asphalt, concrete or material <br />approved by the Council. The surfacing should be compatible with <br />materials being stored upon the area. <br />4. All lighting shall be hooded and so directed that the light source shall not <br />be visible from the public right -of -way or from neighboring residences <br />and shall be in compliance with Section 903.020.I of this Ordinance. <br />5. The storage area must not take up required parking spaces as required for <br />conformity to this Ordinance. <br />6. The provisions of Section 921.010.C. of this Ordinance are considered and <br />satisfactorily met. <br />Page 37 <br />
