MAYOR
Michael I. Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600 ADMINISTRATOR
(651) 484 -2177 / FAX: (651) 484 -4538 Joel R. Hanson
Email: cityhall @ci.little- canada.mn.us
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Fahey & Members of the City Council
FROM: Greg Schroeder, Public Works Director
DATE: October 21, 1999
RE: 21s` Rider to Agreement with St. Paul Water Utility
The existing storm sewer at 53 Woodlyn Avenue surfaced at a point just west of this property
and flowed east along the edge of Woodlyn Avenue to the St. Paul Water Utility property. For
safety reasons, the City of Little Canada required the developer of the building at 53 Woodlyn
Avenue to extend the existing storm sewer to the east edge of his property. This resulted in a
storm sewer outlet at the edge of the St. Paul Water utility.
This storm sewer work was coordinated and approved by the St. Paul Water Utility staff. The
2Ist Rider is a result of that approval and allows the City of Little Canada to cause storm water to
flow overland across their property and to access this property for maintenance of the storm
sewer outlet structure.
I have reviewed the 2lst Rider and recommend Council approval.
GS:kp
PAGE 192
