IRIS HUNT
3172 Ryan Lane, Little Canada, MN 55117
September 29, 1999
3172 Ryan Lane, Little Canada, MN 55117
Elizabeth Mursko, Zoning Administrator
City of Little Canada
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 -1600
Dear Ms. Mursko:
Re: Conditional Use Permit
his Hunt, d.b.a. Carlson Sales and Service
3 172 Ryan Lane
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117
RECEIVE
To date I have completed all improvements to the above mentioned property as required by the City
of Little Canada with the exception of the rear yard surfacing to accommodate the parking of seven
vehicles.
It is my wish to request a waiver regarding the completion of the rear yard surfacing due to the
following criteria. As you are aware, there is a concern that the property located to my immediate
north may be environmentally impacted. Soil borings to determine the extent of any possible
contamination have not been completed to date In the event that contamination would be found on
the adjacent property, I would want to be assured that there was no infiltration onto my property
that would require excavation. Both Ramsey County and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
(MPCA) are investigating this property. I would like to wait until all the soil testing is complete
and Ramsey County and the MPCA have given closure to this site before I complete the rear yard
surfacing. After closure is given I would request that I be allowed to expand the concrete apron on
the east side of my building to accommodate the seven vehicle parking spaces.
Thank you for your consideration of this request. Please contact me with any questions or
concerns. I look forward to your response in this matter.
Sincerely,
Iris E. Hunt
E1-1 /clh
PAGE 236
