MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION OCTOBER 14, 1999 Keis recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit for open and outdoor storage of trucks and equipment as a principal and accessory use as well as a Variance on the boulevard landscape requirement from five (5) feet to zero (0) feet due to minimum driveway access width and lack of space between the building and street surface for 208 Ryan Drive as requested by Mr. Russ Fischer subject to compliance with the recommendations of the Zoning Administrator as outlined in her report dated June 28, 1999 and subject to paving of all required parking areas. Motion seconded by Kraemer. CUP — 182 RYAN LANE — KEVIN VOLLMER CUP FOR ACCESSORY GARAGE — 30 WEST DEMONT — MARK GRACZYK Motion carried 5 — 0. Mr. Kevin Vollmer requested that action on his application for Conditional Use Permit for open and outdoor storage of materials and equipment as an accessory use at 182 Ryan Lane be tabled at this time. Carson recommended that the Vollmer application for Conditional Use Permit be tabled as requested by the applicant. Motion seconded by Kraemer. Motion carried 5 — 0. Mr. Mark Graczyk, 30 W. Demont Avenue, appeared before the Commission requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit allowing garage space up to 1,472 square feet in size. The Commission reviewed the City Planner's report dated October 12th, specifically the recommendation that the alley that divides the property be vacated. It was noted that a portion of the alleyway in this area has already been vacated. There appears to be no public need for the remainder of the alleyway. Barraclough asked if the applicant planned to remove the two existing garages on the property. Graczyk replied that as soon as the new garage was completed, he would tear down the two existing garages. Keis asked the size of Graczyk's house. Graczyk estimate his house at between 800 and 900 square feet in size. Barraclough Page 27
