City of Little Canada, Minnesota <br />Ordinance <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 903.110.E. OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE,BY PROVIDING FOR ONE ADDITIONAL <br />WALL SIGN ON CORNER LOTS IN THE B -2 AND B -3 DISTRICTS. <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 903.110.E.5.a. is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />a. Excegt_tar_carranisita_athsleacaribacLiarhe <br />maximum number of signs on any princiapl building shall <br />be two (2) and in all cases, the total sign area shall be <br />calculated as fifteen (15) percent of the gross <br />silhouette area of the front of the building. Where the <br />principal building is on a corner or through lot and thus <br />faces two (2) public streets, both sides may be counted. <br />If however, the building has only one (1) ftonage and the <br />owner elects to erect two (2) signs, the total square <br />footage of both signs may not exceed the maximum <br />allowable square footage determined from the front <br />building silhouette. <br />For purposed of determining the gross area of the <br />silhouette of the principal building, the silhouette <br />shall be defined as that area within an outline drawing <br />of the princiapl building as viewed from the front lot <br />line or from the related public street(s). <br />In addition to wall signs, freestanding signs may be <br />utilized, or a combination of both. In the B -2 and B -3. <br />Zoning Districts. each building steal] he allowed one wall <br />sign and one freestanding sign except that corner lots <br />may utilize one wall sign per street frontage plus one <br />freestanding sign.
