Broten <br />3085 Labore Road <br />(Since 1956) <br />Born in Minneapolis, 1928 <br />Education: <br />Minneapolis Public Schools <br />Graduate, University of Minnesota, B of Civil Engineering, 1949 <br />Employment: <br />Retired in 1990. <br />Part -time local inspector for Omega Point Laboratories, San Antonio, TX, <br />1990 to 1997. <br />Civil Engineer with TKDA, St. Paul, 1954 to 1990. Principal activity with <br />TKDA was writing construction specifications. Have general knowledge of <br />grading, drainage, pavements, building, and the like which should be of use <br />to the Commission. Have dropped my professional registration upon <br />retirement. <br />1949 to 1954, heavy construction with USER and contractors. <br />Personal: <br />Married, two daughters, five grandchildren. <br />Make almost daily use of the Parks walking path from around the Arcade <br />Street Pond to Payne Avenue. <br />page 202 <br />
