Hanson <br />Re: Position on the Parks & Recreation Commission <br />Dear Mr. Hanson: <br />The purpose of this letter is to formally apply and request consideration for the opening <br />on the Little Canada Parks & Recreation Commission. <br />My family has enjoyed living in Little Canada since 1992. We have been involved with <br />the recreation activities sponsored through the Little Canada Parks & Recreation <br />Department, and I have enjoyed coaching various sporting activities. <br />I have been employed as a Construction Manager for a Civil Engineering firm since <br />1985. I am currently the Area Supervisor for the Northwest metro area, and my duties <br />include the design & specifications for public improvements, management of residential <br />reconstruction projects, and daily interaction with City staff & residents. <br />I have a strong desire to be involved in the planning and implementation of future park <br />decisions. I believe my construction experience, specifically constructing trails <br />throughout various parks, could be beneficial to the Parks & Recreation Commission. I <br />want to see the .Parks developed so they can provide the best use and enjoyment for the <br />residents of Little Canada. <br />I appreciate your time on this matter and will be available to answer any questions you <br />may have.
