Signals failed to cross the small hills to the southwest of the site. Along I -35E
between Little Canada Rd. and Hwy 36 the signals were below the noise and
undetectable at times. Our signals at the intersections of 1 -35E with 1-694 on the
north and Hwy -36 on the south were below useable levels. Coverage on Rice
Street was' spotty at best and at the same time, terrain variations caused our test
signal to be received to the south in the City of West St. Paul resulting in an
interference situation to customers served by our West St. Paul site. Map B
shows the areas where this location fails to meet the necessary service
requirements for our customers.
3. The Citgo station at Little Canada Rd. and I -35E. This location was tested at 35,
45 and 55 feet to determine the minimum height necessary for our service This
site does provide adequate coverage an 1 -35E, Hwy 36, 1-694 and Rice St. when
operating at a height of 55 feet to antenna centerline. The majority of this area
will enjoy in- building coverage while the site does not produce interference
beyond the normal range of the site. Please refer to Map C.
Page 51
