Page 2
February 17, 1999
The neighbors were not aware that Frank Frattalone offered to pay a $ 0.10 per ton
gravel tax. Frattalone suggested that the tax would be used to make improvements to the
Ryan Industrial Park site, including Spruce St., Country Drive, and Ryan Drive. This
idea was well received and there were many ideas on how to use the proceeds to improve
the park. Discussion included ways to clean up the appearance of the park and working
with the Code Enforcement Officer to have a guideline that property owners could
follow. There will be additional meetings to discuss further as the details are finalized.
Frattlone showed the neighbors the landscape plan that would plant trees and shrubs
along the Fra -Dor berm on Ryan Drive. Frattalone would also landscape the Country
Drive / Ryan Drive entrance to the park. Frattalone will pay for this landscaping, even if
the City does not approve the tax to be used for special industrial park projects.
Frattalone will complete the landscaping this spring upon city and property approvals.
This letter has been distributed to all attendee's of the meeting prior to submitting to the
city. I have attached an attendance list. We appreciate the continued support of the
Mayor and City Council to work with Frattalone to continue our recycling operation in
the City of Little Canada. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Respectfully,
F.M. Frattalone Excavating and Grading, Inc.
c.1,7#a71./ btVipt9
Mark R.
