During this meeting, we discussed several code violations and
corrective measures needed to bring the property into compliance with the City zoning
code (signage, surfacing and marking employee parking area, accurate site plan
designation of materials, surfacing main drives of business). Mr.Carle agreed to resolve
the above mentioned code violations. I am requesting that Mr. Carle submit a plan to
me (Code Enforcement Officer) with a schedule of compliance completion dates as
soon as possible.
We also discussed the PUD permit application for open and outdoor storage of
automobiles. It is my understanding that Mr. Stypa and Mr. Gruett would like to re-
submit a more detailed site plan and proposal statement including proposed
improvements to the property for further review. This PUD permit application is
currently on the Council Meeting calendar for review on Wednesday, March 24, 1999.
The City Council has the discretion to act on the PUD permit at this meeting or refer it
back to the Planning Commission due to the additional information you are asking to be
considered. The City will require a letter from you, the applicants, to the City Council
requesting that your application be referred back to the Planning Commission due to
this additional information as well as a request for an additional sixty (60) days for the
City to process and review the PUD permit application. The deadline for submission of
your request, additional materials, site plan and proposal statement is Friday, March
Page 33
