between cross streets is greater than 1200 feet. <br />2. Mid -block lights shall be placed between lots on property lines when possible. <br />3. Lights are to be placed at minimum 600' apart. <br />4. On new public streets in development areas, the developer will be required to pay <br />the up front capital costs to purchase and install required street lighting as <br />determined by City Staff. The City will receive ownership of the lights from the <br />developer and pay the monthly energy and maintenance costs at the NSP Group V <br />rate ($5.45 versus $14.75). NSP will maintain city owned street lighting. <br />5. NSP will be responsible for the maintenance all City Street lights. Group V lights will <br />result in a capital cost at the time of replacement estimated at 25 to 30 years. <br />6. A petition requesting a light shall be 60% of the abutting property owners affected.
