MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 27, 1999 <br />VACATION OF <br />UTILITY <br />EASEMENT — <br />PITRINA PARK <br />SECOND ADD. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -4-94 — INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO PROCEED WITH DISCUSSIONS WITH THE <br />CITY OF VADNAIS HEIGHTS RELATIVE TO ANNEXING LOTS 2, <br />3, AND 4 TOTALLY WITHIN ONE CITY'S BOUNDARIES AND <br />REQUESTING THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR COME BACK WITH <br />SOME OPTIONS FOR THE COUNCIL'S REVIEW <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the vacation of a <br />utility easement over Lot 25, Block 1, Pitrina Park Second Addition. <br />Council noted that the City Engineer has reviewed the vacation request <br />and recommends approval. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Morelan pointed out that at one point there is 7.4 feet of easement on one <br />side of the sewer easement. Morelan asked if this would be enough room <br />should repairs ever be needed indicating that he thought 10 feet on either <br />side of a pipe was the minimum that the City ever got. <br />The City Administrator replied that the City Engineer has reviewed the <br />vacation request. However, indicated that he would verify this with the <br />Engineer. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -4 -95 — VACATING THE WEST 8 FEET OF <br />THE EAST II FEET OF LOT 25, BLOCK 1, PITRINA PARK <br />TERRACE SECOND ADDITION AS REQUESTED BY FRANK <br />FRATTALONE BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE <br />CITY ENGINEER AND SUBJECT TO HIS CONFIRMATION THAT <br />Page 103 <br />
