JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA CITY OF VADNAIS HEIGHTS <br />is requesting to subdivide the described property into 14 lots and one outlot for <br />the purpose of constructing 14 single family homes in a plat named Twin Lake <br />Pines Addition. A portion of four lots are located within Vadnais Heights and the <br />remainder are located within Little Canada. For taxes and other purposes, three <br />lots (Lots 1 through 3, Block 2, Twin Lake Pines preliminary plat) will be <br />considered in Vadnais Heights and the remainder of lots and outlot A will be <br />considered to be in Little Canada. <br />C. PURPOSE <br />The purpose of this agreement is three -fold as follows: <br />1. To define the platting process that will be used by the municipalities in an <br />effort to make the process more efficient for the landowner. <br />2. Define an agreement between the two municipalities that will require <br />Vadnais Heights to study the feasibility of providing municipal water to <br />the Twin Lake Pines addition and all other property in Little Canada lying <br />North of Interstate 694. <br />3. Define the rights and obligations of Vadnais Heights and Little Canada <br />relating to the construction, cost, maintenance and usage of municipal <br />water in Little Canada and the use of Little Canada's sanitary sewer on <br />Lots 1 through 3, Block 2, of the Twin Lake Pines Addition in Vadnais <br />Heights. <br />D. AGREEMENT <br />Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual undertakings herein expressed, <br />Vadnais Heights and Little Canada agree as follows: <br />1.
