JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA CITY OF VADNAIS HEIGHTS <br />j. Little Canada agrees to maintain the pond in Outlot "A" of the <br />Twin Lake Pines Addition according to watershed and City <br />standards. <br />k. Little Canada will require all necessary agency permits be secured <br />by the developer for utilities, Stormwater, etc. <br />1. The developer is required to reimburse Vadnais Heights for any <br />cost of its (Vadnais Heights) consultants to review the plat and <br />utilities in this subdivision. <br />m. The Vadnais Heights City Council shall review and approve the <br />final plat prior to signing the final plat. <br />n. Little Canada shall approve and monitor all erosion control <br />measures for this plat. <br />2. Water Study <br />a. Vadnais Heights is currently updating its municipal water system <br />to determine it adequacy and needs for the future. By previous <br />agreement, Little Canada has requested Vadnais Heights to <br />consider serving all of Little Canada lying North of Interstate 694. <br />b. Little Canada agrees to promptly pay Vadnais Heights for the share <br />of this municipal water study, currently estimated at $2,700. <br />c. Upon completion of the municipal Water Study, the feasibility of <br />serving Little Canada will be clearer and Little Canada and <br />Vadnais Heights will have to endorse a feasibility study to <br />determine how the subject area can be served and implemented. <br />Estimated costs for both Little Canada and Vadnais Heights will be <br />determined and agreements made between the parties as the <br />process develops. <br />3. Construction, Maintenance and Usage of Water and Sewer Main <br />a. Upon completion of a study, both parties shall decide and agree <br />whether the water main shall be extended, looped, etc. <br />Page 23 <br />
