MINUTES <br />CUP FOR OPEN <br />AND OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE — <br />3172 SPRUCE — <br />PETROLEUM <br />MAINTENANCE <br />gentearstrass <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 9, 1999 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9`s day of June, <br />1999 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Vice Chair Rick Montour called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Ms. Faith Kraemer <br />ABSENT: Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. John Keis <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Elizabeth Mursko, Zoning Administrator <br />Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the May 13, 1999 meeting <br />those minutes stood approved as submitted. <br />Mr. Dan Larson, Petroleum Maintenance, 3172 Spruce Street, appeared <br />before the Commission requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit <br />allowing open and outdoor storage of construction equipment and <br />machinery as an accessory use. <br />Elizabeth Mursko, Zoning Administrator, reported that the fencing and <br />screening on the site meets Code requirements. The only issue unresolved <br />at this point is that the gate on the north side of the building must be <br />screened. Mursko reported that the storage area is surfaced with Class V <br />materials, which meets requirements. Another outstanding issue is that the <br />access to the site exceeds the 24 -foot maximum allowed by Code. <br />However, the City Engineer will be asked for a recommendation that this <br />issue. <br />Page 61 <br />
