AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered this 9th day of September, 1998, by and between the <br />City of Little Canada, A Municipal Corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, <br />hereinafter referred to as "City," and Greg Schroeder, hereinafter referred to as "Schroeder." <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to employ Schroeder as its Public Works Director, effective <br />Wednesday, September 9, 1998; and <br />WHEREAS, Schroeder agrees to enter the employment of the City of Little Canada on that <br />date; and <br />WHEREAS, both parties desire to establish the terms of this employment; <br />IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. POSITION. The City of Little Canada agrees to employ Schroeder as its Public Works <br />Director. Schroeder agrees to serve as the Public Works Director for Little Canada, will <br />devote his full business time and best efforts to the City of Little Canada, and will engage in <br />no outside business. Schroeder agrees to perform the duties of Public Works Director as they <br />have been explained to him and as they may be changed from time to time. Additionally, <br />Schroeder shall be required to perform such other duties as may be directed from time to <br />time. <br />2. SALARY. The City of Little Canada agrees to pay Schroeder a salary of $60,000 per year <br />starting Wednesday, September 9, 1998 and continuing through December 31, 1999. The <br />City agrees that on January 1, 2000, assuming satisfactory performance by Schroeder, that <br />Schroeder's salary will be adjusted to the greater of either $60,000 plus 5% or $61,241 plus <br />Page 35 <br />
