Brad reviewed installation of a water quality pond south of Gervais Beach. <br />Flood protection for Simka Plisner and Mugs Nardini was discussed. It was noted that <br />they are only two houses still within 100 -year flood elevations. <br />The residents asked if County Road B -2 would be renamed. They mentioned it used to <br />be called Ducharme Road or Gervais Avenue. (The Administrator stated the City hasn't <br />contemplated a name change due to the impact to residents, If the neighborhood is <br />interested in this possibility, they should discuss it among themselves and make a <br />proposal to the City Council.) <br />The residents asked if a follow -up meeting could be held. The Administrator said it was <br />possible and we will do so once more information is available as to final plans. <br />The Administrator thanked the County and Watershed staff for their cooperation and <br />participation with this project. He then thanked the residents for their interest and <br />attendance. <br />Page 49 <br />
