EXTRACT OF THE MINUTES <br />OF A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 1998 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota was duly called and held at the City Center <br />of said City on the 9th day of September, 1998 at 7:30 P.M. <br />The following members were present: <br />Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, and Pedersen. <br />And the following were absent: None. <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY <br />1999 TAX LEVY AS PRESENTED BY CITY STAFF <br />WHEREAS, <br />The preliminary 1999 tax levy is as follows: <br />GROSS TAX LEVY <br />Less: <br />$1 ,919,947.00 <br />HACA 402 620.00 <br />NET TAX LEVY FOR CERTIFICATION $1,517,327.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />The Council is required to certify the preliminary tax levy to the County Auditor by <br />September 15, 1998. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA that the Council hereby approves the preliminary 1999 tax <br />levy of$1,517,327.00. <br />The adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Council Member <br />and upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof <br />Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, and Pedersen; <br />And the following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Council this 9th <br />day of September, 1998. <br />Page 61 <br />
