MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 11, 1998 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Planningg <br />Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 12 <br />day of June, 1998 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the <br />following members of the Commission were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Mr. Gene Delonais <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Fred Schletty <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Alan Brixius, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES There being no corrections, the minutes of the May 14, 1998 regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission were approved as submitted. <br />CUP - GORDIES <br />II lama <br />Mr. Dave Cossack, Gordies Place, appeared before the Planning <br />Commission requesting approval of an amendment to a Conditional Use <br />Permit that Gordies currently has for outdoor volleyball. The current CUP <br />allows volleyball four nights per week with a completion time of 10 P.M. <br />for games. Cossack requested an additional two nights per week as well <br />as the ability to have a couple of tournaments per year. Tournament play <br />would be completed by 6 P.M. Cossack reported that Gordies currently <br />has volleyball teams playing Sunday through Thursday evening, and <br />would like to add Friday night as well. <br />Knudsen noted that the City Planner is proposing that the volleyball area <br />be screened, but noted that the Planner's report indicated that it is not <br />immediately apparent how this screening could be accomplished. <br />Page 17 <br />
