Falcon <br />Heights - <br />TRAVEL SURVEY <br />APRIL, 1998 <br />Up to $35 per day for all expenses including meals, phone calls, and <br />miscellaneous expenses. Deduct from this amount $6 for breakfast, $9 for <br />lunch, and $15 for dinner when these meals are included in registration <br />fees. Up to $50 per day if traveling to a "high cost area ". Falcon Heights <br />has developed a listing of these areas. <br />Nothing in policy regarding reimbursement for damages or deductible for <br />Personal vehicle damaged while employee is conducting city business. <br />Hasn't happened yet, so not sure what city would do. <br />Maplewood - Up to $25 per day for meal reimbursement. <br />Does not cover the cost of repairs or insurance deductible if personal <br />vehicle is damaged while conducting city business. <br />Shoreview - Up to $28 per day for meal reimbursement. <br />Vadnais <br />Heights - <br />Does not cover the cost of repairs or insurance deductible if personal <br />vehicle is damaged while conducting city business. <br />No dollar limit per day for meal reimbursement. Expense reimbursement <br />must be approved by the City Administrator. <br />Vadnais Heights will cover the cost of the deductible if an employee's <br />personal vehicle is damaged while conducting city business <br />Waterous - Will pay up to $300 for damages to the employee's car provided the <br />employee is not reimbursed by his own or another insurance company. <br />Page 38 <br />
