MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 12, 2012 <br />WORKSHOP The City Administrator recommended that a workshop meeting be held <br />WITH PARKS with the Parks & Recreation Commission to review the parks and trail <br />& REC improvements priority listing and how it fits into the City's Capital <br />COMMISSION improvement Budget. The Administrator indicated that staff will prepare <br />several scenarios for consideration. He also recommended that the <br />workshop be held just prior to the Commission's October meeting. <br />Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -9 -158 — CALLING A JOINT WORKSHOP <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND PARKS & RECREATION <br />COMMISSION FOR THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2012 AT 6:30 P.M. <br />TO DISCUSS PARKS AND TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS AND THE <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />WORKSHOP The Administrator noted that Sheriff Bostrum has requested a workshop <br />WITH with the Council to provide an update from the Ramsey County Sheriff's <br />SHERIFF Department. He also suggested that any unfinished items from the <br />BOSTRUM September 26th Workshop Meeting could be carried over to this meeting. <br />Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -9 -159 — CALLING A WORKSHOP <br />MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2012 AT 6:00 P.M. TO <br />RECEIVE A REPORT FROM SHERIFF BOSTR UMAND <br />COMPLETE ANY UNFINISHED ITEMS FROM THE SEPTEMBER <br />26TH WORKSHOP <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0).
