HF2920 FIRST ENGROSSMENT [REVISOR ] MS H2920 -1 <br />1 organization within one year of the contribution any money, <br />2 grants, property, or other thing of value; <br />3 (5) a contribution by a licensed organization to another <br />4 licensed organization unless the board has specifically <br />5 authorized the contribution. The board must authorize such a <br />6 contribution when requested to do so by the contributing <br />7 organization unless it makes an affirmative finding that the <br />8 contribution will not be used by the recipient organization for <br />9 one or more of the purposes in paragraph (a); or <br />10 (6) a contribution to a statutory or home rule charter <br />11 city, county, or town by a licensed organization with the <br />12 knowledge that the governmental unit intends to use the <br />13 contribution for a pension or retirement fund. <br />14 Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 1997 Supplement, section <br />15 349.154, subdivision 2, is amended to read: <br />16 Subd. 2. [NET PROFIT REPORTS.) (a) Each licensed <br />17 organization must report monthly to the board on a form <br />18 prescribed by the board each expenditure and contribution of net <br />19 profits from lawful gambling. The reports must provide for each <br />20 expenditure or contribution: <br />21 (1) the name, address, and telephone number of the <br />22 recipient of the expenditure or contribution; <br />23 (2) the date the contribution was approved by the <br />24 organization; <br />25 (3) the date, amount, and check number or electronic <br />26 transfer confirmation number of the expenditure or contribution; <br />27 (4) a brief description of how the expenditure or <br />28 contribution meets one or more of the purposes in section <br />29 349.12, subdivision 25; and <br />30 (5) in the case of expenditures authorized under section <br />31 349.12, subdivision 25, paragraph (a), clause (7), whether the <br />32 expenditure is for a facility or activity that primarily <br />33 benefits male or female participants. <br />34 (b) The board shall make available to the commissioners of <br />35 revenue and public safety copies of reports received under this <br />36 subdivision and requested by them. <br />Section 2 <br />Page 99 <br />
