CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 2026-5-64 <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING THE POLLING PLACE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />PRECINT 2 FOR THE AUGUST 11, 2026 STATE PRIMARY ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 204B.16, subd. 1 requires the City Council, by ordinance or <br />resolution, to designate polling places; and; <br />WHEREAS, the Little Canada City Council has designated Little Canada Elementary School as <br />the polling place to serve all territory in Little Canada Precinct 2 located in the City of Little <br />Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Area School District has informed Ramsey County Elections Office <br />that they will not allow Little Canada Elementary School to serve as a polling place for the State <br />Primary Election; and, <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute Section 204B.16 allows changes to the polling place locations at <br />least 90 days before the next election if one or more of the authorized polling places become <br />unavailable for use; and; <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Little Canada City Council hereby changes the <br />Precinct 2 polling place for the August 11, 2026, Election from Little Canada Elementary School, <br />400 Eli Road, Little Canada, Minnesota to Little Canada City Hall, 515 Little Canada Road East, <br />Little Canada, MN 55117. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to send a <br />copy of this resolution and any subsequent polling place designations to the Ramsey County <br />Elections Office. <br />AND BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 204B.16, subd. <br />1a, the County shall send a notice of change in this polling place location to each affected <br />household with at least one registered voter in the precinct.
