CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2026-5-62 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGENCY AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL <br />PARTICIPATION IN ADVANCE CONSTRUCTION FOR LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Little Canada Road Improvement Project is a joint and collaborative project with <br />Ramsey County and the Minnesota Department of Transportation, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada continues to act as the lead agency on this collaborative <br />project; and <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the project has greater than $5M in federal funding, necessitating an Agency <br />Agreement for Federal Participation in Advance Construction. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada: <br /> <br />1. That pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the Commissioner of Transportation be <br />appointed as Agent of the City of Little Canada to accept as its agent, federal aid funds <br />which may be made available for eligible transportation related projects. <br /> <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are herby authorized and directed for and on behalf of <br />the City of Little Canada to execute and enter into an agreement with the Commissioner of <br />Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation set <br />forth and contained in “Minnesota Department of Transportation MnDOT Contract <br />Number 1062987”, a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which <br />is made a part hereof by reference. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council this 13th day of May, 2026. <br /> <br /> <br /> _____________________________ <br /> Thomas Fischer, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: _________________________________ <br /> Heidi Heller, City Clerk
