NWHP & Little Canada Suggested Guidelines <br />Eligible Improvements: <br />•Correct local or state code deficiencies, health and safety items (i.e. plumbing, electrical, gas piping, mold) <br />•Improve the structural components of the unit (i.e. roof, exterior wall, floor trusses, steps/stoops) <br />•Energy related improvements (i.e. windows, insulation, heating), thereby reducing long term energy costs <br />•Repair/replace deficient interior finishes such as flooring, countertops, wall/floor repair, doors, lighting <br />•Improve accessibility (including ramps) <br />For discussion: <br />•Skirting, Water Heaters, Basic appliances (stoves, refrigerators), which many other programs do not cover <br />Ineligible Improvements: <br />•Landscaping, exterior site improvements, recreational/luxury improvements, working capital, debt service or <br />refinancing of existing debts.
