CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #2026-5-65 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING NICK SCHWALBACH TO THE VACANT <br />LITTLE CANADA CITY COUNCIL SEAT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Little Canada has determined that a <br />vacancy exists in the council seat to which Amanda Gutierrez was elected effective <br />January 1, 2023; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Little Canada at its discretion is allowed to <br />fill the vacancy; and, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada hereby appoints Nick Schwalbach to the vacant City Council seat effective May <br />27, 2026; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Nick Schwalbach having been duly appointed to <br />said seat by vote of the City Council, shall have and possess all the duties, powers and <br />privileges of the City Council of the City of Little Canada to complete the term effective <br />May 27, 2026, through December 31, 2026. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Little Canada City Council this 27th day of May, 2026. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________________ <br /> Thomas Fischer, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________________ <br />Heidi Heller, City Clerk
