Hanson
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Department has requested to place two transmitters within our
water tower base and one approximately 20 -ft. tall antenna on top of our water tower (please see
attached memo). I recommend we allow the installation of the antenna and transmitter cabinets
subject to the following conditions:
• Execution of a tower /land lease agreement similar to the one between the City of Little
Canada and the Ramsey County Department of Emergency Services.
• Notification of our current tenants (Ramsey County Department of Emergency Services and
AT &T Wireless Services of Minnesota, Inc., formerly Minnesota Cellular Telephone Co.)
regarding the interference clause that is in the current agreements between the City and the
above mentioned tenants.
• Engineering plans to be reviewed by the City Engineer as to location and structural integrity
of the transmitters, antenna and associated hardware.
• All external hardware is painted to match the water tower.
Page 84
