Any amaanLs due Cw <br />the <br />City Administrator may certify to the County Auditor the amount due <br />plus a Twenty -five Dollar ($25.00) administrative charge, together <br />, and the County <br />Auditor shall thereupon enter such total amount as. part of the tax <br />levy on said premises to be collected during the ensuing year. <br />10 al. <br />• <br />WATER METERS AND FWDRANTS <br />1601.400. WATER METERS. Except for extinguishment of fires, <br />no:person, except authorized City employees, shall use water from <br />the. water system or permit water to be drawn therefrom, unless the <br />same be metered by passing through a meter supplied at approved by <br />the City. No person not authorized by the Plumbing Inspector shall <br />connect, disconnect, take apart, or in any manner-change, or-cause <br />to be changed, or interfere with any such meter ar the action <br />thereof.. <br />(1) A service charge for installation in the amount of Eighty <br />Dollars ($80.00) to be made by customers for water meters <br />and payment for the same shall be made in advance of <br />installations. <br />(2) Where a customer has need for a larger line in addition <br />to his domestic line, as in the case of a commercial <br />consumer who needs a one inch line for normal use and a <br />six or eight inch line for a fire sprinkler system, he <br />will be permitted to run one line into the premises and <br />Y off into two lines at the building. When this is done, <br />the meter will be attached to the small or domestic line <br />and a check valve as well as a 3/4 inch detection meter <br />shall be put on the large line. <br />(3) There shall be an installation charge for meters an fire <br />sprinkler systama of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per meter, <br />which shall include the first ten (10) sprinkler heads, <br />but where there are more than ten (10) sprinkler heads on <br />1601 -10 <br />Page 77 <br />
