The Construction Manager shall assist the Owner in the pre- <br />paration of Subcontractor Agreements (AIA A401 -1997) or <br />other subcontractor Agreement acceptable to the Owner and <br />Purchase Agreemtents and the Construction Manager shall re- <br />ceive required Bonds and Certificates of Insurance and <br />forward them to the Owner. The Construction Manager shall <br />advise the Owner on acceptability of Subcontractors and <br />material suppliers proposed by the Contractors. <br />f. The Construction Manager shall prepare and maintain a list <br />of Subcontractors with Contract amounts. Said list shall in- <br />clude, as line items for total Project costs, such items as <br />trash, toilet facilities and other temporary facilities. The <br />Construction Manager shall provide recommendations and in- <br />formation to the Owner regarding the assignment of responsib- <br />ilities for temporary Project facilities and equipment, mat- <br />erials and services for common use of the Contractors. <br />g. The Construction Manager shall provide recommendations and <br />information to the Owner regarding the allocation of respon- <br />sibilities for safety programs among the Contractors. <br />h. The Construction Manager shall assist the Owner in selecting, <br />retaining and coordinating the professional services of sur- <br />veyors, special consultants and testing laboratories required <br />for the Project. <br />i. The Construction Manager shall prepare, maintain and update <br />a Project Construction Schedule for the Work. This Schedule <br />shall be for the overall Work of the Project and shall be <br />supplemented with monthly and /or weekly schedules. Consistent <br />with this Schedule, the Construction Manager shall expedite <br />and coordinate the ordering and delivery of materials requir- <br />ing long lead times. <br />2.) Construction Phase <br />a. The Construction Manager shall provide administration of the <br />Contracts for Construction. The Construction Manager shall <br />provide administrative, Management and related services to <br />coordinate scheduled activities and responsibilities of the <br />Contractors with each other and with those of the Construction <br />Manager and the Owner to endeavor to manage the Project in <br />accordance with the Project Schedule and the Contract Documents. <br />b. The Construction Manager shall record the progress of the <br />Project. the Construction Manager shall submit written pro- <br />gress reports to the Owner including information on each <br />Contractor and each Contractor's Work, as well as the entire <br />
