MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
OCTOBER 4, 2012
McGraw asked when the Council would be asked to act on park projects
proposed for 2013. Sanders suggested that the Commission would work
on the 2013 projects over the next 3 to 4 few months with the goal to have
the work done during the 2013 construction season. McGraw asked if the
projects would proceed provided there was money in the Capital
Improvement Budget. The Administrator indicated that the 400 Fund
could handle both the Rondeau Park landscaping improvements ($10,000)
and the Nadeau Park improvement ($50,000) in 2013. Once the General
Capital Improvement Budget is approved, moving forward with those
projects is authorized. However, the City Council would have final
approval to proceed with bidding the projects and award of bids. Projects
scheduled out for 2014 and beyond are still subject to Council approval as
each budget year is considered.
The City Administrator reported that the Council has scheduled a 2013
Budget workshop for Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at which
the capital improvement budgets will be considered. He reported that the
Commission members are welcomed to attend.
There being no further business, the workshop meeting was adjourned at
7:40 p.m.
Attes
WiHfamHlesener, Mayor
Joel
J
anson, City Administrator
7
