<br />Little Canada City Code 827-8 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />827.160 Suspension of Registration <br />A. When Suspension is Warranted. The City of Little Canada may suspend a cannabis retail <br />business’s local registration if it violates the ordinance of the City of Little Canada or poses an <br />immediate threat to the health or safety of the public. The City of Little Canada shall <br />immediately notify the cannabis retail business in writing and state the grounds for the <br />suspension. <br />B. Notification to OCM. The City of Little Canada shall immediately notify the OCM, in <br />writing, the grounds for the suspension. OCM will provide the City of Little Canada and <br />cannabis business retailer a response to the complaint within seven (7) calendar days and <br />perform any necessary inspections within thirty (30) calendar days. <br />C. Length of Suspension. The suspension of a cannabis retail business local registration may be <br />for up to thirty (30) calendar days, unless OCM suspends the license for a longer period. The <br />business may not make sales to customers if their local registration is suspended. <br />1. The City of Little Canada may reinstate a local registration if it determines that the <br />violations have been resolved. <br />2. The City of Little Canada shall reinstate a local registration if OCM determines that the <br />violation(s) have been resolved <br />D. Civil Penalties. Subject to Minn. Stat. 342.22, subd. 5(e), the City of Little Canada may <br />impose a civil penalty, as specified in the City of Little Canada’s Fee Schedule, for registration <br />violations, not to exceed $2,000. <br /> <br />827.170 Temporary Cannabis Events. <br />A. Purpose. The purpose of this Article is to regulate temporary cannabis events permitted by the <br />State of Minnesota. These regulations are intended to ensure that temporary cannabis events in <br />Little Canada protect the health, safety, and welfare of the community, and that events are <br />following both local and state regulations throughout their duration. <br />B. Administrative License. No person shall use his or her property or assist, countenance or <br />allow the use of his or her property, or of another’s property, located within the City of Little <br />Canada for any form of temporary cannabis event without first having obtained a license from <br />the public safety director or designee(s). <br />C. Application. An application for a license must be filed with the City of Little Canada. Said <br />application shall include the following information: <br />1. A narrative description of the event including the name of the event and proposed location; <br />2. A list of all activities to take place at the event; <br />3. The name of the sponsoring entity/or main contact person, along with their address, email, <br />and phone number; <br />4. The proposed date and time of the event together with the beginning and ending times for <br />each date;
