WELCOME <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 1, 2012 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, was held <br />on the 1st day of November, 2012, in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road East in said city. <br />Chair Linda Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the commission were present: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Ms. Linda Fahey <br />Mr. Jeff Heikke <br />Mr. Tom Maida <br />Mr. Dan Slain <br />Mr. Kevin Steinert <br />Ms. Patti Sullivan <br />ABSENT: Ms. Katie Lolmaugh <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks & Rec Dir. <br />Mr. Bill Sanders, Parks Consultant <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />The Commission welcomed Boy Scout Marc Lowenthal who is working <br />on his Citizens in the Community Badge as well as his father Garry <br />Lowenthal. <br />MINUTES The Commission unanimously approved the minutes of the October 4, <br />2012 meeting. <br />FIRE BARNS The Commission reviewed the Fire Barns Warming House project <br />WARMING that is slated for 2013. The Parks & Recreation Director reported that <br />HOUSE the City Administrator has not yet discussed the need for additional <br />PROJECT land from St. John's Church with the Church. He also reported that the <br />City Engineer has discussed the possibility of connecting into the Metro <br />Sewer trunk line for sewer service for a new warming house with Metro <br />Sewer.
