MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 8, 2012 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of <br />November, 2012 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Vice Chair Tom Duray called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Ms. Heidi Murphy <br />ABSENT: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Ms. Jennifer Maleitzke <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The October 11, 2012 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br />PROPERTY The City Planner reported that North American Banking Company has <br />DIVISION — made application for a property division subdividing a series of 7 <br />2608 -2614 adjoining 25 -foot lots into 2 single - family lots. Each lot will have 87.5 <br />STARK feet of frontage and will consist of 11,780 square feet. The Planner noted <br />STREET — that the lots exceed minimum Code requirements. <br />NORTH <br />AMERICAN The Planner pointed out that this is being processed as a simple <br />BANKING subdivision, but noted that the Ramsey County Recorder has the final <br />COMPANY authority to record and approve new legal descriptions. He indicated that <br />occasionally the Recorder will reject a non - platted subdivision if the legal <br />description is confusing or inappropriate. The Planner indicated that the <br />descriptions for these lots are relatively simple, and he did not believe the <br />Recorder would reject the descriptions. However, he wanted to note the <br />possibility. <br />The Planner also pointed out that the survey submitted includes the <br />boundary line easements around the two new lots as is required by Code. <br />2 <br />
