The Board acknowledged and agreed that the proposed location of
this wall may adversely affect the Heather Oaks property owners who face Viking Drive,
obstructing views, and potentially decreasing property values as a result. The Board
further acknowledged that this would adversely affect the marketability of homes along
Viking Drive, and as a result may lead to diminished property values as a whole in
Heather Oaks. The Board encourages all homeowners, particularly those directly
affected by the proposed wall, to attend an informational meeting at Little Canada City
Hall at 5 PM on Tuesday, October 23rd. MNDot and City of Little Canada officials will
be presenting plan details.
Exerpted from Board meeting minutes, October 13, 2012
Barbara Boysen, Acting Secretary
10/26/2012
