MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 28, 2012 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 28th day of <br />November, 2012 at the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in <br />said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City Planner <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Mr. Kevin Helander <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -11 -202 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE NOVEMBER 14, 2012 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />WATER Mayor Blesener read an article from the Pioneer Press Watchdog <br />SAMPLE column reporting that an anonymous company is leaving little bottles <br />& WATER and questionnaires on metro -area doorsteps requesting samples of tap <br />INSURANCE water and as well as personal information. Watchdog is recommending <br />that people do not provide the water sample nor share their personal <br />information. The article notes that whoever is collecting the information <br />does not share a name, address, or phone number. The form just says it's <br />an "independent organization not affiliated with any governmental <br />agencies ". <br />Additionally, Watchdog reports that a company called HomeSery has been <br />selling insurance policies for private water lines from the street into the <br />home.
