MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA DECEMBER 13, 2012 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of December, 2012 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Vice Chair Tom Duray called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Tom Duray Mr. Scott Barraelough Mr. Tom Fischer Mr. Jon Hall Ms. Jennifer Maleitzke Ms. Heidi Murphy ABSENT: Mr. Dan Knudsen ALSO PRESEN"I': Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk MINUTES The November 8, 2012 Planning Commission meeting minutes were approved as submitted. CUP — The City Planner reported that Richard Reeves, Maaco, has applied for 190 RYAN two Conditional Use Permits, one to allow major auto repair and the DRIVE - other to allow outdoor storage of up to six vehicles on the property MAACO located at 190 Ryan Drive. Mr. Reeves will be leasing about 1/3 of this building and will operate it as an accessory auto repair facility supporting his primary site on Country Drive. The Planner noted that vehicles requiring certain aspects of repair will be brought from the primary Maaco location on Country Drive, repairs completed at 190 Ryan Drive, and then returned to Country Drive. The Planner pointed out that the Fire Marshal has inspected the property and finds it complied with the Fire Code. The City Planner reviewed his December 6, 2012 report and noted that the conditions outlined in this report would be verified prior to the issuance of an Auto Repair License and Outdoor Storage License. The Planner indicated that staff is recommending approval of the two Conditional use Permits with verification of compliance prior to license issuance.
